Continuing education through the University of Massachusetts Amherst, University Without Walls Program. My intended ares of study are Sustainability Studies and History.

-Peer tutoring at the high school/college level in the areas of history, english, and environmental studies. -Peer tutoring at the college level in essay writing, academic writing, public speaking, and essay structuring. -ACT Composite, 26 -Completed 5 college level writing intensive courses, 2 of them re upper division. -Completed 61 college credits, 15 of them are upper division. -Extensive experience in Public Speaking through college courses, class and public presentations, and regular speeches for two years for a volunteer organization where I spoke in front of more than 2,000 people on several occasions. I have been blessed to have amazing professors, teachers, and mentors in my life throughout my academic career. I understand how the person teaching the subject can make all the difference in the world. Education is the most important thing a person can acquire and it is the only thing that can never be taken away from you. Tutoring is important to me because I believe that every student should have the opportunity to learn from someone that will put all of their energy into creating the most effective and positive learning environment for their specific needs, which is what I strive to do with every student.

Hobbies
I was born and raised in northern Nevada and spent much of my time skiing, snowboarding, and wake boarding. I also played basketball, did MMA, played lacrosse, and was on my high schools wrestling team. After moving to Hawaii for college I traded in my skis for scuba gear and found a love for everything that nature has to offer. I enjoy hiking, caving, sightseeing and exploring new places. Living next to the ocean is incredibly rejuvenating and relaxing, it can help me find peace even in the most stressful situations. My interests at home include gardening and working in my greenhouse. My all time favorite way to pass the time is by reading, I would rather immerse myself in a complex story line and understand the depth of characters than see it in theaters.
